I've read this on two blogs now, and think it sounds like fun... so here it is...a gift and a challenge. Are you in?
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year (might take a while).
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. (But don't think I will)
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same (If 5 sounds like too much, you could just do 3.) The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Good luck!
One Crazy Mom, one Hard-workin' Dad, and seven terrific kids, livin the good life in the West.

Family Fun
We had a fun weekend on the 1st, filled with family and friends. Here are a few pics of our excitement. First, Saturday, we sledded, and snomobiled at Taylor's, with Justin and Natalie and kids.

Grandma Taylor had foot surgery just a few days before. Rylee is helping to entertain her with puzzles.

Then on Sunday, we had 2 baby blessings, Jon and Andrea's baby, and Paul and Crystal's baby, followed by a big family dinner at Bezzants. Both Great-Grandma's were able to come up from Utah, so that's always a fun time to see them, and take a few photos.

Cute or Crazy??
I don't know what it is about a cute pair of shoes. But for some reason, I have been noticing peoples shoes more than usual, lately. After seeing a cute pair of heels at church, I decided I needed some cute shoes. (Shoes have been at the bottom of my spending list for quite a while.)
While shopping, a few months ago, I found some heels that I thought were cute. After walking up and down the shoe isle, and deciding that I could walk in them, I bought them. Of course, they were on sale.
My first week at church in them, I feared I would twist my ankle or trip. So, why do I do it? It's not very comfortable. I cannot walk fast. It's harder to stand up from a low chair. My calves hurt when I take them off. I'm not sure that it's worth it, but I do like looking at them. They feel higher than they look in the pictures. (4 inches)
I bought Ally a pair at DI. I didn't think they looked too high. But they're 4 inches and they fit me too :) Just what we need, two broken ankles!
