Greetings from the Taylors and our newest member, Maycie! It's pretty amazing to me, to see us all together and think, they're all ours! With all of our differences, we're one big, happy family :)
Our new little cutie, Maycie was born July 15th, weighing 9 lbs 1 0z, 21 1/2 inches long. It only took a week and a half to decide on her name! (The spelling is finally final!) We think she's pretty sweet.
Allyson was so cute the first time she held Maycie. I called and asked my mom to go get her, because she was home alone, waiting to go to temple baptisms with our ward. They got there about 40 minutes after she was born. Ally cried and cried as she rocked her, and that made all of us cry. It's pretty awesome, when you think of the miracle of it all.
Delivery went well. I was afraid of having another 10 pounder, and since the doctor told me he thought she was probably already 9 pounds, I decided to be give in, and let them schedule me for induction just 2 days after my due date. I was having fairly regular contractions, but, when I got in there Tues morn, I was not progressing fast enough, so they still put me on pit, and broke my water. The epidural worked great, and that's always a good thing. So, 8 1/2 hours after our arrival at the hospital, little (kinda big) Maycie made her entrance.
Matthew can't get enough of her. He is always saying, "I wanna hug her!" over and over. I have to keep a close eye on her.

Congratulations!!! She is absolutely darling. What a cute name! We are so excited for you! I'm glad you started a blog!!!! It's so much fun to see all the pictures! I can't believe how much Ally has grown! Two gorgeous girls and a bunch of handsome boys!

OH...MY...GOSH!!! My little Maycie is SO cute!! =] hey cousins!! how re you guys? i feel like i havent seen you in forever!! =[ well i guess thats why you need to come to Twin. Hey, I just listened to "I Saw God Today." We heard it a few times when we were traveling to Rexburg a few days after Maycie was born. It will always remind me of her!
