Time to clean!

For those of you who know me, you probably know I'm not the cleanest, or most organized gal in the world, neighborhood, or family. When I need to entertain, I have to have everything in order, but I struggle with the day to day, "drop in anytime" clean. Especially right now, when I am holding a baby pretty much constantly. I have my ups and downs. And I am on a down, apparently. I feel like I'm always cleaning, but I can't get ahead. So, I told Bill that I was going to blog my house, so that I would have to really thoroughly clean it. He said "no, you're not." But, in my lack of better things to share at this moment, I just have to share the joy of a cleaned out game closet. It's always amazing to see how many things can fit in a closet, when you pull it out.
The boys were not excited about the idea. But, after a half day of sorting games, and pieces of games, that have been tossed into a closet for over a year, it was finally finished. I have to say that one thing that brings me great joy is a completely organized space. I just like looking at it. So far, for almost a month, it has stayed clean :) However, Matthew has found joy in having access to all of his games, in their proper places, and daily gets out about 5 of them all over the family room. We work on the "please, put away that game, before you get out another one." But, I've decided I just need a padlock!

Wow good job! I need to do that to my whole house!! I am HORRIBLE at keeping it clean! I need to get it figured out before I have more kids because with what it looks like now I don't want to know what it will look like a few kids later!

Seriously? Who cleans? I don't believe you for one minute that your house is ever messy, cause I've never seen it that way EVER! Sorry I didn't know about your kids and their tonsils! You'll be so glad you finally have it done and over with!
