Surprise!!!

What do you do when Grandma calls to let you know that she won VIP TICKETS TO DAVID ARCHULETA (and she'd rather share with her teenage granddaughter)? You go to a concert of course. Here's Ally's story of how it went down.

When my grandma called, I was jumping up and down and I was so psyched. As most of you probably know, I am a GIGANTIC fan of David Archuleta. I listen to the CD every single day, and I have all of the songs memorized. Anyway, Tyson and Jaron decided to stay home, so I took my friend Kate, who is also a pretty big David fan herself.
When we got to the civic auditorium, there was a line a mile long full of screaming girls, but since we were VIPs we got to go to the front of the line. How exciting is that?!
They let the VIPs go up and stand in the pit right next to him. That was so exciting! Kate and I were shocked and out of words. I wanted to scream. This was, after all, a once in a lifetime experience! We stood five feet away from him the whole time! First off, there was a crazy rocker girl named Lesley Roy that sang like nine songs and I was SO ready for David!!

By this time, my legs were killing me and I felt like I needed to sit down, but we stayed and jumped and sang. It was all worth it. David came out next.It was so amazing. I know you probably think I'm being too dramatic, but no. It was that great!
He sang all of almost all of his songs, some new ones, and some songs by other people, like I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, and Love Song by Sarah Berella. It was awesome. By the time it was over, my legs were numb, my ears and my throat sore from all the screaming (and it was way fun to sing the whole time), and it was almost eleven o'clock, but it was all worth it. I loved every minute of it. What teenage girl wouldn't die to be there? I seriously LOVE David Archuleta, and it was really nice of my grandma to give us these tickets. Thank you so much grandma. I owe you one!!
