I don't feel like I'm THAT busy. Things seem to be settling a little.
Here's my summary of what we've been doing...
I spent the last 3 weeks compiling a cookbook with Allyson. Moms have been encouraged to set personal progress goals, too. So, together, we decided that we'd compile a ward cookbook. We found a great publisher, and set to work in super speed. We set a deadline, to utilize a coupon from the publisher, and made it!! Phew!! What a job. I don't have photos of that, yet. But we'll probably have enough to sell a few extras, if that is something that you enjoy. It should be great!
The rest our story is told in pictures.
Saying good-bye to one of my best friends who moved to Washington - soo hard! But, "gee, I love technology" We can still talk frequently!

Two beautiful daughters are growing up.

Reading books, All day, Every day! :)

Cleaning up more than a few messes, All day, Every day!

Visiting with Great-grandma.

Doing a little dancing to "Shake your Tailfeather."

Playing a little Basketball - that's right bas-ket-ball! - Uh Huh - bas-ket-ball!

Celebrating Mom's newest decade! :)

Calving - 4 new baby calves, and adopting one, too. We're all about the girls at our house lately. Not one boy. So, cute. So smelly. Not so cute, when they're big.

It's spring break, Hooray, no school! "what can we do? How bout shoveling some snow!" Too bad it's spring break, or we would have had a snow day! The back yard pics were taken just three weeks ago! Today, it's 80, and the kids are running through the sprinklers. CRAZY!

It's April. Time again for a Taylor family reunion, and a visit from our cousins in Maine! Yippee. We had a talent show full of singing, joking, light sabering and pianoing. What a talented family! Took a trip to Jackson, had a cookout in the pasture, and all went to sacrament meeting together, where grandma and grandpa got to speak. They gave a beautiful tribute to their children, and raising a righteous family. Throw in a goodbye to all after church and you have one pretty emmotional day.

Our newest baptized member of the church!

Things are really starting to grow and change around here. (Did I mention we like girls, lately?)

We have some new roofing assistants at our house. All four of the oldest kids did their share of the work with Bill. Good job, kids!

I love a good find. I was in charge of one of the gifts for a day at teacher and staff appreciation week at the school. My assignment was "mints". I went to Artco to try and find a little bag or something to put mints in. I found these little cardboard treasure boxes, that you assemble. I thought there had to be something cute that I could use them for. Here's what I came up with. I thought it was so cute, and so inexpensive. The boxes were 10 cents, the ribbons were 1 cent, and 3 sheets of paper. Plus 1/3 cup mints (I didn't calculate that one.)My point is not that I'm cheap, :) just that it was fun to find something that I thought was meaningful, and tell them how much we care...plus be frugal at it.

I also got to come up with a door decoration. It turned out better than I thought it would, too. The big fish (teacher) is saying "Just keep Swimming" (you know? Finding Nemo!")
