I've taken more pictures, but don't have them on the computer yet, so, I can't post them. (sorry Kate)
She is a dolly. A sweetie. A pumpkin. And, a screamer! When she's mad, she holds her breath until she is a bright purpley blue color. She did it at the hospital, so I wondered if it would be something that she kept doing. And, yep, she does. She's pretty mellow most of the day, but when evening rolls around, 6:00 or 7:00 ish, she decides she's had enough pleasantries, and she's going to let us know about it. So, if I'm not feeding her :) (guess what I'm doing right now?) she's whimpering, whining, crying or screaming until she turns blue, and almost passes out. What happens if a baby passes out from crying? It scares me just a little - and I'm pretty sure that she comes close. I left her with Bill the other night while I went to Albertson's to 'save' a little money - and believe me I did! - I called once, after a short time to ask them something, he called back to let me know she was screaming, I asked him to make a bottle...I tried to call again...no answer...he'd just gotten her to sleep...lasted only minutes...more screaming, and turning blue, no mommy to calm her...loaded my cart to overflowing...there was a power glitch at Albertson's, computers were down...waited in line...Bill attempts to call me twice...calls not going through...waited in line some more...an hour later I arrive home...screaming baby and blank stare Bill both locked in the living room, at 11:30 pm. I pick her up, and hold her face close to mine...crying stops. I won't be doing that again. He's decided that he'd rather pay 5x more for his groceries, than to save 'A LOT!' and tend an inconsolable baby. I guess I'd have to agree. No going to Zumba for me! :( Warm up that treadmill.
