Our love just grows.

Little Lydia, born just days ago, only 6 and a half pounds. What a remarkable thing the gift of life is. Feeling the movement of a new baby inside. Then seeing them take their first breaths, and miraculously becoming an air breathing, crying, beautiful baby. It's a miracle...every time! She's a little bruised from her rapid descent - (but then the others have been bruised from their un-rapid descent), but still beautiful. (Always more so in real life, than in these little pictures.)

These pictures should have been reversed. The second in the bath shows how she felt about the bath at first. The scrubbing with the wash cloth, and all the rough rubbing. But, when she put her in the tub of warm water, the screaming stopped and she was calm and relaxed.

Love is an amazing thing. It's true that adding to a family never takes love away from someone else, only grows, and strengthens.

I was saying to my computer "Please have updated your blog, Jen!" And, much to my delight, you did! She is so precious. I think she looks different than Maycie did. I wish I was closer. Looking at these pictures made me tear up. We sure love you guys!!

Jen, i saw your blog via Suzette, and you have one beatuiful baby. I am so happy for you and your family. I hope I can see that baby soon, I think I have only been to church once in the last 5 weeks because I've been so sick.
